In 2000, the Restaurant Association of Maryland established a “Hospitality Hall of Honor” to recognize those industry leaders who have exhibited hard work, dedication, courage and creativity while representing the Hospitality Industry in Maryland. Tonight’s five Hall of Honor inductees all live up to the high standards set by each and every one of our previous year’s inductees.

The story of Three Brothers Restaurants is a first rate American success story. In 1976, three sons of a hard-working Italian family moved the family business from Brooklyn, New York to Greenbelt, Maryland to make good on their father’s dreams of success. Originally from Rapone, Italy, Michael, Mario and Peter Repole participate in every part of the family business – from using family recipes for making their famous sauce and entrees to developing both in-center and free standing Three Brothers restaurants.

When their first location opened up in Greenbelt, there were just three tables and the whole family (Mamma, Mike, Mario and Peter) working in the same kitchen.  Now, after 30 years of hard work, one family restaurant has grown into a thriving corporation serving the entire region with over 17 locations throughout Maryland.
