When Ceresville Mansion opened its doors as a special event venue in 1990, visionaries Judith and Philip Hoagland sought to create an unparalleled dining experience by pairing the highest quality cuisine with exceptional service and attention to detail.  Since that time, Executive Chef, Tom Heilman and his culinary cast approach each event with a zeal and diligence that garner the respect of clients and peers alike. Over the past 17 years, the entire Ceresville staff has dedicated themselves to the company mission of exceptional cuisine combined with superior service and continue to maintain a standard of excellence in the hospitality industry.  Commitment to our clients and a beautifully maintained venue along with award winning chef’s have earned Ceresville Mansion the distinction of “Best Event/Reception Site” by the readers of Frederick Magazine each year for close to a decade.  Built in 1888, the mansion remained a private residence until it was transformed in1990 into a unique venue for weddings, corporate events, picnics and various social celebrations.
