its Mid-Atlantic trade publication in 2002 with the goal of bringing the foodservice professional in Maryland, Washington DC, Virginia and
Delaware an informed, imaginative, and insightful newsmagazine.
FSM’s mission is the same today as it was when our first issue was delivered to its 18,000 plus readers: We will bring Integrity and Fair Reporting to the pages of Foodservice Monthly by demonstrating our Commitment to Foodservice, Communication and Excellence. Editor/Publisher Michael Birchenall serves as an active member of the RAM Expo Committee and is the Secretary of the Board of Directors
of the Maryland Hospitality Education Foundation.
