The Cornerstone Award is given to the individual or company who best illustrates that the Foodservice Industry stands as the cornerstone of the community and the economy. Their successful businesses support their local communities by
creating multiple job opportunities, and by financially supporting non-profit groups, schools, scouts, and youth sports teams. Recipients have also contributed greatly to the State’s healthy economy—creating jobs, purchasing goods, and paying innumerable taxes and license fees.

Glory Days Grill was founded exactly
11 years ago tonight by Robert Garner, Jeff Newman and Richard Danker. They opened a high-quality
neighborhood eatery that also
emphasized the positive attributes of sports. Countless hours were invested perfecting a multitude of high quality food offerings with an emphasis on classic American fare borrowed from cities across America, presented in an atmosphere reminiscent of glory days past and present. Their reputation blossomed with high quality food, attentive service that exceeded expectations, accompanied by terrific price-value. Each
location, operated by seasoned
hospitality entrepreneurs, has oak-capped booths, state-of-the-art satellite monitors, portable wireless speakers and unusual memorabilia. During 2003 and 2006, Glory Days was the state winner and national finalist for the NRA’s Restaurant Neighbor Award.
