Arismendy was born in Santiago (Dominican Republic) into a family of bakers. At an early age, he started working in the family business learning the tricks of the trade. After short stints at Cross Keys Inn and Café des Artistes, he found his match at Tio Pepe, where he has been performing his magic for the last twenty-six years.

A tireless worker, Chef Infantale has lately become interested in the desserts of his native Caribbean land. The menu at Tío Pepe is inspired by traditional Spanish specialties and continental dishes with a strong Spanish flavor.

To accompany discerning diners’ meals, Tío Pepe has an award-winning cellar that offers one of the nation’s premier selections of Spanish wines. A beautiful ambiance, great service and inspired cuisines combine in this reputable restaurant to create an unforgettable dining experience for all patrons.
