This award recognizes Hot New RAM Member Restaurants that have opened in Maryland between Jan. 2005 and Jan. 2007. (formerly the Maryland Diner’s Choice Award).

LIA’S offers seasonal comfort food utilizing Italian, Mediterranean, and American flavors and techniques. Some of our favorite dishes include Handmade Gnocchi with Mushrooms and Fontina, Sea Scallops with Pan Ratatouille and Basil Pesto, and the LIA’S Burger with Provolone

and Pancetta.

The menu features lighter fare like salads, sandwiches, and pizzas as well as more significant culinary endeavors like grilled meats, roasted fish, risottos, and handmade pastas. LIA’S offers eight kinds of sliced cured meats and seven kinds of Italian cheeses. Our pastry team makes twelve kinds of gelato and sorbet by hand daily.

The contemporary and comfortable atmosphere was designed by acclaimed architect Peter Hapstak. Notable design elements include a 1200 bottle temperature controlled wine room, mesquite wood floors, a hand warming fireplace, elegant patio seating, and a big bar. Sunday nights are half price wine night and there is a daily bar happy hour!
