Mitchum’s Steakhouse opened in late October, 2007. Mitchum’s Steakhouse is located on the corner of Main & Maple Streets in Downtown Trappe on the Eastern Shore of Maryland.
Mitchum’s is known for their steaks, served with a contemporary flair. The Delmonico gets rave reviews. The traditional sides of sautéed spinach, mushrooms, French fries and potato puree compliment our seven richly flavored cuts of meat. Mitchum’s Baked Oysters are their best selling appetizer.
Brenda Tighe and Douglas Halliday are the owners. They purchased the property in October, 2004. The original building, a general store, was torn down and the new construction began in 2005. They have been partners and the original owners since October 2004.
