SoBo’s Wine Bistro, short for Southern Boy’s (owners Tom & John Knorr were born and raised in Richmond, VA) opened to rave reviews in December 2006. The food is contemporary American cuisine, with menus that change frequently to reflect the flavors of the season.  With a warm and intimate atmosphere and friendly, knowledgeable staff, you are sure to leave satisfied and wanting to return time and time again.

A progressive, New- World wine list featuring over 100 wines offers something for just about every pallet. 20 bottles of wine priced right at $20 is great for the value conscious or those who want to try something new. If wine isn’t your thing, there is a full bar with an inspiring selection of expertly mixed premium cocktails. For the beer lover, we offer only the finest and freshest All American Craft Brews.

Our chef, Patrick Fanning joined SoBo’s spring of 2008. He is a graduate of Western Culinary Institute in Portland, Oregon. Beer, burgers and cheese, or wine, chocolate and Kobe beef, Patrick is sure to please with his pallet for great pairings and love for
his trade.
