The Restaurant Association of Maryland and the Greater Baltimore Chapter of the American Culinary Federation (ACF) are hosting the Chesapeake Chef Challenge on September 26 & 27 during the Mid-Atlantic Food, Beverage & Lodging Expo held in Timonium, MD. 
 
This ACF sanctioned competition is open to all cooks and chefs - so whether you’re a seasoned competitor or a novice looking to try a competition for the first time, this competition is for you.
 
The Chesapeake Chef Challenge is an ACF sanctioned W category event with a First Prize of $1,500.  Numerous other ACF sanctioned categories are also available to be judged during the competition in order to meet the needs of serious, novice and student competitors.
Hosted by: Restaurant Association of Maryland & ACF Greater Baltimore Chapter 
Presented by: Anne Arundel Community College - Hotel, Culinary Arts and Tourism Institute

The Chesapeake Chefs Challenge is a live cooking competition held at the Mid-Atlantic Food, Beverage & Lodging Expo on September 26th and 27th. Each chef will compete for 60 minutes in the hopes of winning top-three prize packages and ACF medals.

Attendees are invited to watch the exciting competition throughout both days. Finished plates and delectable desserts will be on display. Winners will be announced on Wednesday, September 27th on the UnitedHealthcare Main Stage.

Chefs and culinary students from all over the Mid-Atlantic region are invited to participate. The sign-up fee is $100.

1st Place: $1,500 - sponsored by Nestle Professional
2nd Place: Ocean City Getaway Package - sponsored by Fager's Island
3rd Place: Mercer Professional Knife Set - sponsored by Mercer Culinary

​ACF Categories include: A1-6, B1-4, C1-5, D1-4, KC, W, SK1-9, SP1-2.
Competitors in category W are eligible to win prizes.
