ServSafe® offers industry-leading food safety programs created by foodservice professionals. Created by the National Restaurant Association, it is the premier provider of educational resources and programs to help attract and develop a strong industry workforce.

SERVSAFE® FOOD MANAGER​

​

ServSafe® teaches food managers to implement essential food safety practices and create a culture of food safety.

Clases En EspaƱol
ServSafe Food Manager® Certification meets all of the requirements mandated by the county and local health departments in the State of Maryland, and is recognized nationwide. The curriculum blends the latest FDA Food Code, food safety research and actual job tasks identified by foodservice industry experts. It covers principles including personal hygiene, cross contamination, time and temperature, receiving and storage, food safety management systems, and training hourly employees.

​SERVSAFE® FOOD HANDLER

​ServSafe® Food Handler is a great first step to ensure that all of your employees are trained in food safety. The online class covers 5 key areas: basic food safety, personal hygiene, cross contamination, time & temperature controls, and cleaning & sanitation.

SERVSAFE ALLERGENS™​

ServSafe Allergens™ is an online, interactive course driving home critical information your employees need to accommodate guests with food allergies. The course covers identifying allergens, communication, preventing cross-contact, food labels and more.

SERVSAFE ALCOHOL®

ServSafe Alcohol® is accepted in all 50 states and is ideal for companies that have locations in multiple states. It can be taken online, but the exam must be proctored in person for an additional fee. For more information, call (410) 290-6800 or email us at Classes@marylandrestaurants.com.
