Maryland Health Connection is Maryland’s official health insurance marketplace where you can compare health plans, get savings, and enroll in quality health, dental and vision insurance for you and your family.
Open enrollment is Nov. 1 through Jan. 15. Eligible individuals and families can apply for Medicaid or Maryland Children’s Health Program (MCHP) year round. MCHP provides health benefits for children up to age 19. Benefits include doctor visits, lab work/tests, vision care, immunizations, prescription medicines, hospitalization and emergency services, primary mental health services and dental care.
Certain life events (job loss, moving to Maryland, having a baby, getting married, divorced, or turning 26) allow you to apply for health insurance outside of open enrollment.
